A number of proposals are being put forward by Oadby & Wigston Council, many of which have been reported in the media over recent weeks.
We've been contacted by a number of concerned residents who use the various centres, but haven't yet been approached by the Council. These are your assets - your voice needs to be heard at all stages of the process, not a tick-box exercise at the end.
Details are still at an early stage and may yet change based on feasibility studies, but for now our understanding is as follows. We will update this with any changes or new information coming to light.

- Kirkdale Road car park - housing
- Wigston Club for young people - housing
- Walter Charles Centre - housing
- Oadby Youth Centre (boys club) - cemetery expansion
- Ellis Park tennis courts and bowls pavilion - community centre
